Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Use Heisig Keywords

I just noticed the "Use Heisig Keywords" option (after it was mentioned in another post. What does it do?

With Heisig you will have an bold word for the character giving Heisigs translation of the character. for more info about this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remembering_the_Hanzi

Evidently I'm missing something because I can't see what's different between when I have it on vs off. Where in the interface should I be seeing the Heisig translation? I am familiar with the method and while I don't have the book I definitely found studying the Skritter list helpful.
