no background music with skritter?

Atann   October 30th, 2014 9:09a.m.

I noticed skritter now mutes other audio applications (podcasts, spotify etc). Is this behavior intentional? I preferred the old way with support for background music..

I'm on iPhone 5S, iOS 8.1.

Sorry you're not able to listen to background audio while studying, it wasn't intentional. We submitted an update to Apple that re-enabled the mute switch behavior and also reverted back to original audio behavior with music, podcasts, etc.

The update should be in the App Store now. If you haven't done so already, please upgrade to the latest version (2.6.2) and you should be good to go!

Got it,thanks! Background music is fine now but it seems pronunciations were lost in the process... Any hints?

Make sure to hit the Download Extra Sounds in the app's study settings to get all the audio recordings we have.
