Will there be an Android-Version for the KindleFire?

lazylink   December 30th, 2014 1:44p.m.

Hi,
at first i would like to say thank you to all the people working on the AndoridApp - it has really improved fast and a lot since the first release of the BETA and i enjoy it more and more (im using the Chinese App).

So far im using it on my phone but i would like to use it on my KindleFire as well. Its not available on the Amazon App-Store - i've managed to install it on the Kindle by exporting the ".apk" file from my Phone but it has some major problems with displaying the characters while writing.

So my question is - are you planing to release a Kindle-Version of the Android App any time soon?

Thanks...

Hi lazylink,

Thanks for your question. We've got lots of new things planned for 2015, including some updates to the website and the Android application. Once some of those projects have been crossed off the development list the team will be in a good place to pick up a KindleFire and see what it will take to put the app in the Amazon store.

I've made a note to contact you if we need any beta testers for the project. If anyone else would like to be added to the list please let us know in the comments below!

Cheers,
Jake and The Skritter Team

Hi Jake,

thanks for the quick reply and thanks for adding me to the list for beta testing. Looking forward to it.
