Any ideas or projects in the works that use spaced repetition to ingrain grammar rules?

You can memorize example sentences that show the use of various grammatical points. For every grammar point you want to internalize, throw another sentence into your study set.

Right; we don't have any grammar-aiding plans except for improving the example sentences.

I'll second what James said. Use Anki, and try to get as many examples of the grammar point as possible. Textbooks are often good for this. I also find this helpful: http://comet.cls.yale.edu/mandarin/content/grammar.htm
