Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Can't seem to find raw squig mode

I think I'm blind...
I found eccentric flavor, but no raw squig mode.

does anyone know how to get to it?

Go to the practice page, in the upper right corner you have "settings". On that page in the lower right corner you have the setting for squid.

unfortunately I still can't find it... ??

On the practice page it says "What would you like to study?"
And then theres a button for "everything",
A chart saying how many items are due next week,
Study from list, Make list
A cram button,
And a place to enter in a word to look up ,


Is the Raw Squig mode maybe only available for Chinese learners, and not on the Japanese?

g1itch, click the everything button so you're starting practicing characters. The settings button is then on the top right. It should be in there.
