skritter.cn down last night

studygood   May 28th, 2011 10:23p.m.

skritter.cn was down for me last night (in mainland)

Anyone else had this problem?

stimut   May 28th, 2011 11:25p.m.

Yep. Was done for me too. I left it half an hour or an hour and it came back though.

Me too, it's actually been down maybe 50% of the time that I tried to Skritter throughout this week, making it very hard to finish the challenge.

I am also located in the mainland but skritter.cn seemed to be up the entire week for me. Last night I wasn't trying to use it so I may have missed that down time.

Darn, and just as I switched my monitoring tool to point to the main skritter.com for a while! We'll need to get another instance of the monitoring tool going for the skritter.cn version again. I'm not sure if it was really down or if it was sort of down, or even if it was just increased filtering from the GFW, but we'll keep a better eye on it.

i had trouble accessing most of the internet that time and many of my friends did. A while later my modem died though so it could have been dying and be the cause. Or they might be experimenting with new blocking systems. No more problems now, well except the usual.
