Can't add new words to study in android

andreaslp   February 7th, 2015 2:15a.m.

Hi!

I just updated my app for the first time since October or so. Now when I hit the plus on the study page in the app nothing happens, even though I have a list set to adding. This worked just fine before I updated.

Is it a familiar problem? Any response would be much appreciated.

Hey andreaslp, there have been several reports of this happening and it might very well be related to updating from an older version. One thing you might try is completely deleting the application and downloading it again. Let me know how that goes for you and we can proceed from there.

I'm having the same issue with my android app. Have re-installed and it is now loading from a 2nd list, but I cannot get new words to load from my first list. Seems to keep recycling the same words.

@barnesgj, I see that you have two lists as adding and the system is supposed to switch between sprinkling in new words from each. It sounds like this isn't happening and I'll be looking into the issue.

One thing you can to in the interim is go to the lists screen and then pause a list so that only one is adding. That should force it to only add from this list and then you can start and pause lists to force it back to the other. I know it's not optimal, but should allow adding from both lists until it's fixed.

After reinstalling my app, I refreshed my data and both lists started adding again. So far so good.
Thanks!

Mine actually worked fine after logging out, restarting my phone and logging in again.

Might be I should've tried that before posting. Thanks for the response though!
