my queue won't go down...

Bohan   August 13th, 2011 5:31a.m.

I know that sometimes it takes a while before the queue number adjusts/changes, but for the last couple of hours my writing review queue won't go down past 33. Usually when I refresh the page, the number changes, but not today. In fact, the number has been bouncing back up to around 50.

Not a big deal ; probably just a little bug

Yes, it's an old bug that I'll have to rework the whole system in order to fix, I think. Were you adding many words at the time, or just doing reviews?

Bohan   August 13th, 2011 11:34p.m.

I added a few words yesterday , probably about 25.

I was only doing reviews. The same thing is happening today, except now it won't go past 40. It's only like this when I'm doing "writing only" ; the other parts have all gone down to zero without a hitch

Are your computer time and Skritter account timezones set correctly, and what timezone are you in?

Bohan   August 14th, 2011 11:43a.m.

that's probably what was wrong. I adjusted my timezone settings a couple of hours ago, and after that the queue began to go down.

Thanks !

Did you adjust the timezone settings while you were on the study page, without reloading it, or did you adjust the settings and then refresh it? The first case should be the only one where Skritter gets confused, but my timezone handling code never fails to surprise me.
