Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Are there any plans in having greater integration with Pleco?

Are there any plans in having greater integration with Pleco?

Such as allowing Pleco users have definitions shown in Skritter directly from Pleco's app/dictionaries, or using Pleco's audio-recordings?

This would be extremely useful. I know someone created an add skritter app for android but a plugin for Pleco would be awesome.

I hope so, that would really help.

I third this opinion, though I'm sure it wouldn't be easy to integrate.

I would pull away from Anki entirely if you could give me the audio and native like example sentences! I'm not saying the example sentences on Skritter are bad, what I am saying is I've sat with my girlfriend before, she has spied some errors, and some Chinglish in the SOME examples.... no offence y'all!

It'd also be cool to add a feature where you can conveniently add words you look up in Pleco to a list on Skritter, though again I'm sure the coding, phone calls, and random bunny raids would make this feature difficult to integrate as well

I wouldn't mind paying a higher sub fee for the features discussed above....

;)

Hey all, I'd like to comment a bit on my thoughts for implementing something that would make this easier in the future. I was thinking it might be more useful to hook an "Add to Skritter" option into the native Android context menu when selecting text in general. This wouldn't be integrated directly with Pleco, but rather more globally across the Android text controls.

I suppose the next step for me would be to look into developing a plugin for that. Implementing a quicker way to add words on Android is on the development list though.
