Manual Add Word Button not working in Andriod App

roscs003   January 17th, 2015 4:42p.m.

Sometimes (more often than not) when I hit the Add Word Button in the Android app I get the following error message.

"No lists found, you need to add another list to study".

I already have 2 lists going.

Thanks

Hey roscs003, thanks for the report! It sounds like a few other users are having issues with this as well and I haven't had much luck trying to reproduce it. I'll post back when I have more information or have uploaded an update for the issue.

In my experience this phenomenon comes and goes. When I get that error msg I go tot he web app, add a few words and then it's okay on the android app... can add words from there for a while.
I am pretty sure that if it's automatically adding on the android app when you hit "add word" it will either hang, not add or the next time you try to manually add you'll get that message. Therefore I make sure to manually add before the due count gets to 5 when the auto-add will kick in. That has either helped considerably or updates I am not aware of have improved things.

Hey sarac, thanks for sharing your experiences with the issue. Now that you mention it the feedback does appear to have started occurring around the time the auto adding update was released. I'll have to dig in more and see what I can uncover. I just spent a bit of time trying various scenario but still didn't have any luck reproducing it.

For others with this issue it certainly wouldn't hurt to try what sarac mentioned or even try turning off audio add. More feedback and "hunches" are appreciate. I'll post back if I make any breakthroughs.
