我特别盼望一个自造例句的功能。不但是因为本来存在着的一些例句不太好，而且也是因为当我自己加上本来不存于skritter词库中的生词时，在很多时候这些词没有例句，阻碍我学习进步。
希望管理人着重这个问题。

Making your own example sentences (and a lot of other sentence upgrades, including sentences for Japanese and more, easier sentences) is on the list that Scott's working on after he finishes some upgrades to the list system. No ETA yet, but at least it's not going to have to wait for me to finish the iOS app!

Byzanti's suggestion is a good one as an interim measure.
