I'm using skritter in a class where I'm studying Boya Chinese, and the word 想象(imagine) just came up. In the book it is written like this 想象, but on skritter its 想像 (an extra side-man in the second part). Is this an acceptable alternative or a mistake？I'd just like to know :)

It's in lesson 2: 日记一篇 in intermediate Speed Up I (Boya Chinese).

Both are ok but 想像 Is the correct to be used in modern language. I did a few weeks ago read an very interesting article (in Chinese) around this since i stumbled upon this my self when i tried to correct my daughters writing. She where correct as usual.
