This was (briefly) really awesome, and very motivating, particularly for someone mathematically-minded. (Though difficult with an academic schedule, so probably much better for people without fluctuating busy/free time.)

I'm not sure how hard it is to set up, and obviously there are more important things that are going to be addressed, like example sentences. So how high a priority is Beeminder integration? Is anyone else really interested?

Alright! No more messing about!

Set some high goals based on my highest values this week and will do my best to stay in the yellow brick road's fast lane.

Beeminder integration? Make it so!

this sounds pretty cool. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like a good idea

Thanks for posting this!!!

Very handy for skrittering , weight loss (dropped 22kg but another 15kg to go) and for rehearsing (saxaphone and bass)

Definitely interested as well to have this setup for automatic update from Skritter.

Yay! Danny of Beeminder here. I'll talk to Nick about getting Beeminder/Skritter integration back up and running. Thanks so much for the interest, everyone!

My graph: https://www.beeminder.com/cia09cr/goals/skritter

Although coursework kind of got in the way at the end, it was pretty successful manually inputting the data from the 'progress' window in Skritter. However, the idea initially was to do it automatically, and include data like 'how many items' and other cool features.

@Danny: Nick previously said he could look into it after the iOs app launch.
My initial question was sort of whether this would be the sort of thing that would need lots of code to be written and time put in to every individual who wanted the integration, or if there could be a button on the progress page that would set it up - that could be beneficial for you guys but Skritter have (quite rightly) been wary of over-complicating things in the past.

I'll see what I can do soon--I am using the Beeminder even more lately, and it's definitely a great way to go.

For some reason it is not bee-minding me. Is there anything I need to do besides setting the reminder options? I set it to send me both an e-mail and a text message to my Google Voice number. I was expecting messages such as "You need to bee more active today." or "You have been a busy bee. Keep up the good work!" .

Daniel Reeves   June 3rd, 2012 3:54p.m.

Hey 范博涵,
The reeminders should start coming the next day, after you've created a goal. Any chance they're getting spamboxed?

范博涵   June 3rd, 2012 4:20p.m.

That was the first thing I checked, but they are not in there, nor in my trash.
I also did not receive any text messages after the initial activation.

jww1066   June 3rd, 2012 5:00p.m.

Yeah, I signed up yesterday and asked for reminders at 8:30 AM, but nothing has arrived.
